How to create user stories in Jira

Here is a quick guide on how to create user stories in Jira:

1. Click to create a work item on the board view. You’ll see a small box to choose the work item type.
2. If Story is not an option, choose Manage work types.
3. Go to Project settings and select Add a work type. Choose to add a Story.
4. Now you can edit what data stories will keep. Add all necessary fields and save.
5. Now you can create stories by selecting the right work type.
6. Stories can be created in any view in Jira.
