How to create a release in Jira

If you want to create a release in Jira:

1. Open Release tab
2. Click Create version in the top right corner
3. Set release name, dates, and driver
4. Go to the Backlog, click Version and open to Show the version panel
5. Click View version to add work items to the Release
6. If you want to manage releases visually, explore the Planyway plugin. The app lets you visualize Releases on any timeline view.
